Lifeskills Training

It can be frustrating walking a dog that pulls at the lead, or who won’t come back when you call. Or perhaps you’ve found yourself apologising for a dog that jumps up on visitors. For those sorts of everyday behaviours that aren’t up to scratch, I offer Lifeskills Training.

Using reward-based training and positive reinforcement, I’ll work with you to encourage your dog to do the right thing. By rewarding the behaviour we want to see and ignoring unwanted behaviour, they’ll begin to see that acting appropriately is in their best interests. They’ll want to do the right thing because there’s something in it for them.

The key to success with Lifeskills Training is clear and consistent communication. You won’t see a change overnight, but with patience and commitment, the end result will be a happy owner and a happy dog.
