Welcome to Dog Logic: Dog Training in the Oxford area
I am passionate about helping dogs and people.
Having a dog in your life should be fun and rewarding and should make you and your dog happy!
However, being a pet dog, living in our home and sharing our lives is, I believe, the hardest ‘job’ for a dog. Each of us have different expectations, lifestyles and commitments that we expect a dog in our lives to fit into.
I want to help you and your dog develop the skills and knowledge to achieve just that, in a fun, enjoyable and rewarding way for you both.
I use reward-based training. It’s all about reinforcing the behaviour we expect in a dog by rewarding them for behaving well. With training, your dog will want to do the right thing.
It’s a kind, fair, scientifically proven and positive approach – and it works!
Whether you would like help settling in a puppy or a rescue, with an adolescent dog who “knows” but won’t do it any more, with a dog that is interested in everything other than you on a walk, a dog that barks and lunges on a lead, or a dog that struggles to be left on their own…. I can help you with all these challenges, and I love helping!
Everything I do is specific to the dog and the situation - it is tailored to solve your problem.
And I am well qualified to do just that - solve your problem. Welfare is that the core of everything I do and I am a member of a number excellent professional bodies that have strong, ethical codes of conduct.
My puppy training will give your dog the skills they'll need to be part of the family.
